Grégoire HUET began his career at General Electric and Nestlé, where he developed solid marketing and international experience. He then joined the Anjac group, where he spent four years managing external growth and integration operations in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors. In 2018, Grégoire took over the management of an SME within the group specialising in the formulation and production of cosmetics.
Wishing to embark on his own entrepreneurial adventure by taking over an SME, Grégoire contacted Trajan to assist him with his project.
Grégoire is a graduate of ESME Sudria and HEC.
Founded in the early 1900s and based in the Oise region (France), Natura specializes in the design and manufacture of ingredients mainly for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, in particular mineral emollients (petroleum jelly, oil, gel, wax) that can be used as active ingredients, excipients or adjuvants in a wide range of formulations.
Natura is a strategic supplier with recognized know-how and high barriers to entry: it is one of the few players in Europe to hold the highest level of pharmaceutical certification for petroleum jelly and oils, and the company benefits from a particularly loyal customer base given the high switching costs and regulatory delays involved in changing suppliers, particularly for its pharmaceutical customers.
After taking over the company in 2021 and initiating a shift towards natural ingredients, the company’s 62-year-old CEO wanted to secure his investment and organise his succession. He therefore opted for the turnkey approach offered by Trajan and Grégoire Huet, an entrepreneur who had been supported by Trajan for more than two years.
The sellers are reinvesting alongside Trajan and key executives of the company, who become shareholders as part of the transaction.
