The Group comprises two operating companies, FMC Climatisation and FMC Maintenance. It specialises in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems for B2B customers, mainly multi-site retailers and service-sector companies. Under the leadership of its founder, FMC has established itself as a leading player in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, thanks to its integrated offering covering both installation and maintenance, its responsiveness and the quality of its service.
Fabien Mathivet founded FMC Group in 2004 and was its sole shareholder. He wanted to hand over the business to a leader who could preserve its DNA while structuring it to support its growth. He chose Pierre-Antoine Michel, backed by Trajan, to succeed him.
The transaction also enabled FMC’s key managers to become shareholders in the Group, alongside Fabien Mathivet, Pierre-Antoine Michel and Trajan.
