Pierre began his career as a sales manager at Valéo and later at Plastic Omnium. He then transitioned to the SME world, becoming the COO and later the CEO of Vidal Diffusion Marine (with a turnover of €30 million). Following the sale of this company, Pierre joined Amazon, where he established and managed their now largest logistics site in France (150 employees and 400 drivers). After following Pierre’s success in both the entrepreneurial setting and the enterprise setting, we got to know him even better as he managed a Trajan-affiliate Subsidiary in an interim capacity. It was then that we worked with him to find a suitable match for acquisition as an owner-manager.
Pierre is a graduate of SKEMA.
Rollakin (ex 123Roulement) offers its customers a catalog of mechanical parts (bearings, seals, belts) with over 160,000 individual references available for delivery within 24 hours.
Rollakin enables its customer base, consisting of professionals and DIY enthusiasts, to repair and extend the lifespan of various equipment. The group has established itself as a leading brand in its market due to the comprehensiveness of its offering and the quality of its customer service.
The gradual shift from traditional distribution of technical parts to the digital channel has allowed the group to sustain significant growth over several years.
The two founders of 123Roulement (now a Rollakin Group subsidiary), who had been the sole owners of the company up to that point, believed they had reached a significant initial stage of development. They had identified internationalisation and B2B as the next two growth axes for the Group, for which it was necessary to renew the competencies of the management team.
They wished to entrust their company to an entrepreneur capable of developing those 2 axes while preserving the independence and culture of their Group. They chose the solution proposed by Pierre Seznec, supported by Trajan, to achieve this.
